Film fraternity fights over Radhe Maa

The self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa has become the ‘hot’ topic of discussion after a woman lodged dowry harassment case and few of her pictures of wearing a red miniskirt surfaced on social networking sites.

Though she received a lot of flak online, but filmmaker Subhash Ghai has come out in support of ‘Gudia Devi Ma’, as called by her older devotees when she is in her childish mood, saying she treats him and his wife as parents.

Subhash Ghai tweeted, “Yes me and my wife have been taking the blessing of Radhe Ma since last year since we are a bhakt of Vaishno Devi. We have been visiting her at the mata ki chowki at Borivali Bhavan. WE had also arranged for a chowksi at our residence so that our friends and relatives could get blessed by her. We have never witnessed any such indecent acts or behaviour that is being talked about today.”

Not only the ‘Taal’ director, she had a high profile list of devotees from TV industry and B-town which includes Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna aka Shaktimaan, Veteran actress Sahila Chaddha.

TV actress Dolly Bindra and Bhojpuri actors Ravi Kishan and Manoj Tiwari were are also among the glamorous devotee in the past.

Meanwhile, actor Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his humorous take on social issues — expressed his views on the godwoman Radhe Maa controversy via Twitter.
