Rahul Gandhi’s fear forced KCR to clear job files: VHR

Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao on Sunday claimed that the fear of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Osmania University forced Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to clear files pertaining to 15,000 jobs.

Speaking to media persons after attending the Congress Legislature Party meeting here, VHR said that KCR was afraid that Rahul Gandhi’s proposed visit to Osmania University would turn the entire students’ community and youth against the TRS Government. Therefore, he hastened up the process of issuing job notifications and clear filling up of 15,000 vacancies in different departments. However, he said KCR was yet to fulfill his original promise of filling up 25,000 posts in the month of July. Stating that the promise was made by KCR during Telangana Formation Day celebrations, he asked the Chief Minister to honour his words.

VHR said any movement launched by youth and students seeking jobs would enjoy the support of the Congress party. (INN)
