Rain-battered T’gana seeks financial help from Centre

Hyderabad: Telangana government today sought financial help from the Centre in view of the damage caused by the heavy rains in the state recently.

According to a release from the CMO, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made a request in this regard to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during a telephonic conversation.

Rao explained the damages caused due to heavy rains recently and said the state government will submit a report to the Centre on this, it said.

Deputy Chief Minister Mehmood Ali, Finance Minister E Rajender and Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma will go to Delhi tomorrow to submit the report, the release said.
