Jaipur: Heavy rains lashed parts of Rajasthan today with Sikar district recording a maximum rainfall of 20 cm.
Heavy rains occurred at isolated places in Kota, Bikaner and Jaipur under Jaipur division while other divisions recieved light to moderate rains, the MeT department said.
Udaipur recorded a rainfall of 45 mm, Kota 41.8 mm, Churu 18 mm, Ajmer 3.2 mm and Baran 11 cm.
Day temperatures also came down in the state where Barmer’s maximum temperature was 40.2 degrees Celsius.
The department has forecast heavy rains at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours.
