New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday alleged that those involved in anti-national sloganeering on the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus aren’t being arrested because the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to form a government with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir.

“According to media reports, those involved in anti-national sloganeering aren’t being arrested because the BJP wants to form a government with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir,” Kejriwal told ANI.

“If those people, who raised anti-national slogans are arrested, Mehbooba Mufti ji might get upset. If they are doing this kind of politics and are really not arresting people because of this reason, then it is wrong,” he added.

According to media reports, it is being said that the people who raised anti-national slogans at the JNU on February 9 were Kashmiris.

Yet, the Delhi Police has not even been looking for them, because arresting Kashmiri students in Delhi may finish any remaining chance of saving the PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
