Raja Singh’s inciting speech of 2013 – Govt. issue G.O. to initiate legal action

Hyderabad: Law Dept., Govt. of Telangana issued a GO to proceed with legal action against Raja Singh for his inciting speech which he had delivered on 29th September 2013 at Sanathan Dharam Sabha, Shah Inayat Gunj on the occasion of “Vishal Gau Raksha Garjana” which was against cow slaughter.

It is alleged that Raja Singh made an inciting speech for which police took a serious note and initiated legal action against him on its own. A case has been booked under section 153 (A) by Shah Inayat Gunj Police. After investigations, police decided to file charge sheet in the court.

Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police had written a letter on 14th June to Law Dept. seeking permission in this case. Govt. after reviewing the records accorded permission for initiating legal action against Raja Singh.

It may be mentioned that as per section 153 of IPC, it is essential to get permission from the Govt. for registering a case against public representatives or Govt. servants. There are many criminal cases against Raja Singh pending in various police stations of Hyderabad City.
