New Delhi: After his release from the Yerwada jail in Pune, Sanjay Dutt, along with his wife Manyata and their daughter, will now be flying back to Mumbai in a chartered plane.
With actor’s family and friends, director Rajkumar Hirani, who is now collaborating with the actor on his biopic and the third film in the ‘Munnabhai’ series, is waiting at theairport for his arrival.
While others are waiting at the Pune airport to welcome back the 56-year-old actor, Hirani is wielding a movie camera to capture his arrival and flying back to Mumbai.
Talking to the media at the Pune airport, the director said, “I am obviously very happy that Sanjay is back. My association with him is for a long time and will continue for long.”
A day prior to Sanjay’s release, the ‘3 Idiots’ director said that he is looking forward to the release of his ‘Munnabhai’ star and is confident that the actor will have a great second innings.
He even hinted on Wednesday that he is looking forward to the ‘Khalnayak’ star’s biopic and also will start ‘Munnabhai 3’ very soon. May be today’s shoot is a part of his hint!
Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to play Sanju Baba in the biopic who is already thinking of physical transformations he’d have to make once he gets into the character.
While leaving for Mumbai after his release from Yerwada Jail, Sanjay Dutt at Pune airport told ANI “There is no easy walk to freedom, my friends. I am here today due to the support of my fans.” (ANI)
