500-600 shias of old city of Hyderabad took out a rally around 5;39 pm from Charminar area to condemn the illegitimate execution of innocent Islamic Scholar Nimr along with 46 others by the Saudi government two days back.
Sheikh Nimr raised his voice against the oppression of shia minority in Saudi Arabia and had to face this fate. The oppression against shias across the globe is growing at a rapid pace.
Earlier this month, another shia scholar Zakzaky from Nigeria faced the same trial and several others were killed by the Nigerian army. Its high time that the world needs to know these brutal acts against the shias by the lawmakers themselves.
