Rare samples were found while excavation as part of renovation process of Qutub Shahi Tombs. The samples reminds of ablution house, cistern and Qutub Shahi masjid. The Indonesian jar, and Chinese crockery found during excavation of Summer Palace reflects trade relations of Qutub Shahi rulers. This came to fore when deputy chief mission of American diplomatic mission for India Mr. Michael Pelletier visited Qutub Shahi Tombs. Mr. Michael took stock of renovation work continued under the supervision of Agha Khan Trust in collaboration with America. The project is being done with the cost of Rs 100 crore. Authorities of Agha Khan Trust told that during excavation it was revealed that there was a mualim in the area and Quranic education was imparted there.
