Recruitment of staff for Minorities Residential School soon

Hyderabad: Secretary of the Dept. of Minorities Welfare, Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS told that 1960 staff members would be recruited for minorities residential schools. The file has already been sent to Finance Dept. On its clearance, Public Service Commission would be addressed to complete the process of recruitment staff within two months. These schools will have English as medium of instruction whereas Urdu and Telugu will be taught as compulsory subjects. Education from 5th standard to intermediate would be free. Classes for 5th to 7th standard would be started from June. 50 rented buildings have been identified for these schools. In a span of one year, old buildings would be constructed. In each school the strength of the students would be 240 and each class will have two sections consisting of 40 student each. There is a proposal to start bridge course for the students who are week in English. Girls schools would be constructed in mandal and district headquarters. Each school would be constructed on 5 acre land. 75% seats are reserved for the student of Minorities whereas 25% would be reserved for other committees.

In order to create awareness among Minorities, Mr. A.K. Khan has convened a meeting of educationists and Muslim school on Friday at DCP Office, Purani Haveli.

Govt. has constituted Minorities Residential Educational institutions society. The Chief patron of this society is Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali whereas Mr. K. Sri Hari, Dy. CM of Telangana would be its chairman. Mr. A.K. Khan is the vice chairman. Mr. Khan has been addl. Responsibility of monitoring Wakf Board and its institution.
