Redesigning of projects to burden exchequer: Revanth

Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy today said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to redesign projects would put additional burden of Rs 20,000 crore on the exchequer. He also asked why the height of Pochampalli reservoir was increased and decreased.

Revanth Reddy further alleged that the government was deceiving farmers saying it would release only 30 tmc water from Malannasagar project as against its earlier promise that 50 tmc of water would be released. The TDP leader also alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was neglecting the intellectuals, who plunged into Telangana movement.

Revanth Reddy reiterated that his party would continue to fight against “anti-Telangana” policies of TRS regime. (NSS)
