A 24-year-old man was killed when the bike he was riding was hit by a police vehicle in Chatrinaka police limits.
The accident occurred near RD Function Hall in Gowlipura on Sunday morning. The victim, M. Rajesh, a barber, was hit by a Tata Sumo vehicle of police department. He sustained grievous injuries and was declared brought dead when taken to Osmania General Hospital, according to Sub-Inspector N. Chandrashekar.
Later, relatives of Rajesh staged a dharna before the Chatrinaka PS demanding action against the erring driver and compensation.(INN)
