Hyderabad: Dr. Fazal Ahmed, Convener and A.A.Khan, General Secretary, Central Unani Joint Action Committee issued a press note saying that Central Govt. invited applications on 14th December 2009 for the appointment of Medical Officers under National Rural Health Mission scheme but even after the lapse of five years, the list of selected candidates has not yet been released.
A delegation led by Dr. Mohammed Niyaz Ahmed Khan presented a memorandum to Minister of State, AYUSH, Govt. of India, Mr. P. Nayak on his visit to Hyderabad demanding the release of selected candidates. He also demanded that the selected doctors should be paid at least Rs. 30000 per month. There should be a hospital with 100 beds at every district under central Govt. Health Scheme.
Mr. Nayek assured the delegation that these demands would be considered by the Govt.
