QUALIFICATION- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from college (electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering..) or high school supplemented by completion of an apprenticeship program in one of the maintenance occupations
Job Description for Estimator
Preparing, negotiating and analysing cost for tenders and contracts.
Assesses scope and location of the job.
Measure and estimate the cost, quantity, specifications and resources
required to accomplish each project.
Interpret and review system drawings to identify any difference to tender
requirements
Review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure
alignment and to identify materials types & quantities for cost estimation.
Establish the cost of installation, materials and workmanships
Estimates accurately each job and review the estimate with the General Manager.
Preparing and sending of quotations.
Sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products needed for
production.
Coordinates with the Site Engineers to assist them in establishing the scope
and standards of projects.
Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
EXPERIENCE:
03-05 years within wood /joinery & fit out companies
GCC experience is a must
