Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday asked MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi to disclose the details of a possible coup which he had feared against the TRS Government.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Revanth Reddy said that Asaduddin Owaisi should disclose all the details of the coup allegedly planned by TDP and Congress against the TRS, even before it formed the government. He said that K. Chandrashekar Rao was the Chief Minister Designate and he had the control over State Intelligence. Therefore, instead of Intelligence Department, how the information of a possible coup reached Owaisi and how he foiled it. He asked as to why KCR kept mum on such a major issue during the last two years.
Revanth Reddy also slammed Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary for not taking action on Disqualification Petitions lodged by opposition parties against the MLAs who defected to TRS. He alleged that the Speaker even violated the court’s order to favour the TRS.
He also announced that the Telangana TDP was ready to mediate if KCR was willing to sit and resolve the disputes over irrigation projects with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. (INN)
