Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Monday accused the TD of politicizing the farm crisis in the state and stated that the state government was taking all measures for the welfare of the farmers.
The minister told the media that the TRS government was taking up a slew of measures aimed at farmers welfare but they had to face hurdles from the Opposition who are trying to blame TRS for their mistakes.
The TRS leader said that Revanth Reddy’s padayatra was a mere political stunt and took pot shot at him saying that the TD government in the past did nothing for the farm sector. He said that the state government is acting tough against the supply of spurious seeds. (INN)
