Revanth ready to prove charges, seeks CBI probe

Accepting the challenge of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that he would tender the resignation and will go to his residence within five minutes, TTDP working president A Revantha Reddy has thrown a counter challenge to the Chief Minister stating he was ready to obey the punishment whatever it was in case he failed to prove his allegations in the House and asked the Chief Minister order a CBI inquiry into his allegations.

In the morning immediately after the House was commenced on Saturday, the Speaker has suspended Revanth Reddy along with his colleague Sandra Venkata Veeraiah for the entire session for disturbing the Governor’s speech after the Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao moved the suspension motion.

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Saturday after the House was adjourned for Monday, Revanth Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister played a solo character in the House. He reminded that the state government made the Governor to read his speech in 2014 that the state government would give Rs 10 lakh financial assistance and a job to the kin of the bereaved Telangana martyr but the state government has extended financial assistance only to 500 families of martyrs among 1,560 families in three years.

He lashed at the Chief Minister alleging that the Chief Minister failed to fulfill a single assurance he made in the last three years. The Chief Minister assured to spend Rs.50,000crore to Daliths but only spent Rs.3,000crore till date. The Chief Minister failed to fulfill the assurance given to the BCs. The Chief Minister failed to provide water to 6100 villages by the December, 2016. But the KCR and Irrigation Minister were speaking in a manner that they were provided water to the 6100 villages. “The Mission Bhagiratha is 100 percent Commission Bhagiratha and Corruption Bhagiratha. Mission Kakathiya is definitely Commission Kakathiya”, Revanth alleged and said that there was money greedy behind the redesigning of the projects. KCR said that he will tender resignation if proved the issues mentioned in the Governor’s speech, Revanth asked KCR to tell whether the above said were not false wood.

He demanded the Chief Minister to order CBI inquiry into his allegations and order punishment to him in the House in case his allegations were not proved. He said that the state government suspended him from the House thinking that he will expose the state government’s true colors. He made it clear that his fight against the KCR family, which was looting the state, would continue to protect the state. (NSS)
