Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy has demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi in support of classification of Scheduled Castes.
In an open letter to the Chief Minister on the issue of SCs classification and welfare of girijans, Revanth Reddy reminded that the former had promised to lead an all-party delegation to the Prime Minister. But KCR has not yet sought an appointment with the Prime Minister in this regard, he said.
The TDP leader alleged that KCR, who made “tall” promises on welfare of SCs and STs, has diverted Rs 1,042.52 crore which was allotted to “their” development. He demanded that KCR immediately take an all-party delegation to New Delhi and utilize funds for development of SCs and STs diverted to other purposes. (NSS)
