Hyderabad: Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali has convened a review meeting of the officers of various Dept. in Secretariat today to assign duties in connection with making arrangements for Ramazan. The purpose of this meeting is to allocate duties to the Departments of Health, Electricity and Water Works.
Every year, such meetings are convened which has became a tradition. The officers promised to provide better facilities but after the meeting they forget everything. There is no competent mechanism to check their responsibilities. As a result of which Muslims face a lot of difficulties during Ramazan. It is advisable that a monitoring committee consisting higher officials is constituted. The telephone numbers of the officials should also be released for public so that they can contact incase of any problem.
