RGI Airport sounds alert over Zika virus

Shamshabad International Airport authorities has announced high alert in the context of spreading Zika virus in India. The authorities have been conducting medical tests to the commuters coming from foreign countries by setting up special medical camp.

           

It may be recalled that the World Health Organisation (WHO) has corroborated that three persons belongs to Bapunagar in Ahmadabad in Gujarat state were suffering from Zika virus. The Gujarat Health and Medical Minister has announced that two pregnant women among three persons contacted Zika virus delivered healthy babies recently. (NSS)
