Rishi Kapoor turns 64: Bollywood wishes love, happiness to him on his birthday

Mumbai : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh among others have poured their heartfelt love on veteran actor Rishi Kapoor as he turned 64 on Sunday.

Bollywood celebrities shared their sweet messages on Twitter along with Kapoor’s photos from his old films, wishing him- a very happy birthday.

Bachchan, who worked with Kapoor in various films like “Amar Akbar Anthony,” “Coolie,” “Naseeb” and “Ajooba,” posted a collage, which had pictures from their movies.

“Happy Birthday Chintu ji… Love and happiness always… Chintu, we did some great films together!!” (sic) he tweeted.

While director Johar wished him an amazing year ahead, he tweeted, “Happy birthday Chintuji… @chintskap… I hope you have a spectacular year!! Lots of love and tremendous respect…” (sic).

Director-choreographer Farah Khan revealed the actor has been her childhood crush. “Happy birthday to my childhood crush @chintskap No one can still do a song like you did! Rajesh lehr ko habiba ka salaam (in joke),” (sic) she wrote.

Riteish, who worked with Kapoor in “Housefull 2”, also wished him on the micro-blogging site and posted some of his pictures. “Happy Birthday @chintskap sir… So much to learn from you… Glad that I got a chance to work with you – much love.”

Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Happy birthday to the coolest!! Have a great day @chintskap. Lots of love.”

Actress Huma Qureshi, who is currently shooting for her upcoming film “Jolly LLB 2” in Lucknow, wrote, “Happy bday @chintskap Wish you all the joy n happiness in the world… You keep inspiring and entertaining sir film after film… Love xo.”
