Ronaldo not planning to leave Real until 2018

Johannesburg: Portugal star striker Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he will stay with his current club Real Madrid for at least another two years.

Ronaldo, who joined Real in 2009, was continuously linked with a switch to either former club Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.

The 31-year-old striker said that he had a contract of two years with Real and would take the decision, whether to continue or not with the club, after 2018.

Ronaldo, who guided his side to Champion League glory in 2008, further said that he wanted to see all his teammates to stay at Real for several years, Sport24 reported.

Earlier, Ronaldo lost his two year grip on the FIFA Ballon d’Or award after Barcelona rival Lionel Messi grabbed the prestigious award for the fifth time. (ANI)
