Tamil Nadu Governor Dr K Rosaiah has expressed his deep shock and grief on hearing the demise of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a condolence message, Governor Rosaiah stated, “Mufi Mohammed Sayeed, a patron and People’s Democratic Party leader was an able administrator, who served in various capacities in both State and the Central Governments. As a man of perseverance, the departed leader continued to fight for peace and prosperity in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Rosaiah said.
“Mufti’s death is an irreparable loss to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved members of the family and pray God to rest his soul in peace, the Governor stated from Tamil Nadu Raj Bhavan. (NSS)
