Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today exhorted industrialists to create opportunities and come forward to help farmers and develop the State.
He was inaugurating a program of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) range of industrialists at Amaravathi here at a program attended by noted industrialists, businessmen and MSME experts. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister announced to allot 15 acres of land in Amaravathi and set up an AP MSME Corporation with Rs 100 crore corpus fund. “We are implementing single window method of giving permissions in just two weeks”, he said, adding that the industrialists can use latest technology and make their own marketing.
Chandrababu stated that 813 small industries were set up so far and hoped that about 6 lakhs of jobs will be provided to the youth and eligible persons in near future. The Chie Minister said that they will soon implement a new system to make proper inspections in the industries which will not face the problem of frequent check-ups. He stated, “The farmers gave their lands for developing the new State capital and I am thankful to them forever. Similarly the industrialists should follow suit to give a push to the State to witness rapid growth and fast development”, Naidu said.
He appealed to the bankers to offer loans to industrialists and businessmen as part of the State development. The government will give all support to the industries to flourish in the State and officials should take steps to give ratings for better value and recognition. Chandrababu also announced to set up MSME parks in about 100 acres in all constituencies in future. He took a dig at the previous government for corruption which led to losing of Volks Wagon Company that went to other States. Naidu also accused the Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for criticizing him despite his hard work for the welfare of people and State development. “It is our Government that fetched noted Motor Companies like Isuzu and Kiya Motors to invest in the State”, he claimed.
