RSS activists takes out march in Jammu

Jammu: Dressed in their newly introduced uniform, the Rashtriya Swayamsewaka Sangh (RSS) activists today took out a march in the Jammu city to commemorate the 91st foundation day of the organisation.

Senior BJP leaders, along with RSS activists, participated in the annual march which started from Rameshwar temple and passed through various parts of the city before culminating at the same place, an RSS activist said.

“This march is an annual feature, where in we highlight the contribution of RSS towards the nation building,” said Sham Lal, an RSS activist.

Elaborate security arrangements were made by the police to thwart any untoward incident during the march.

“The march passed off peacefully and there was no untoward incident reported from any part of the city during the march,” a police officer said.
