Ahmedabad: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will be in Ahmedabad on Sunday on the occasion of Varsh Pratipada Utsav or Hindu new year.
He will address a gathering later in the day, RSS state spokesperson Pradip Jain said.
“While the Sangh does not believe in praying to an individual or commemorating a day, this remains the only day in a year when we salute our founding father Hedgewar before saluting the saffron flag. On other days, we start our day by saluting the saffron flag,” said Jain.
