RSS targets Shiv Sena, says `people can’t take law for granted`

Nagpur, Oct 14 : In an indirect attack on the Shiv Sena over the black-paint attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue M.G. Vaidya on Wednesday said that people have the right to complain or protest but they cannot take the law for granted.

“The Dadri incident and the paint attack on Kulkarni, both are condemnable and extremely unfortunate. The people have the right to protest, but they can’t take the law in their hands,” Vaidya told ANI.

“There are other ways to protest, but in that procedure one cannot insult anyone,” he added.

Vaidya further said that Shiv Sena has earned a bad name for itself with the black paint attack on Kulkarni.

Upset with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ comment that ink attack on Kulkarni had brought a bad name to the state, the Shiv Sena had earlier dared the BJP to walk out of the alliance if it disagreed with the party’s patriotic credentials.

Kulkarni was attacked with black paint by the Shiv Sena activists on Monday hours before former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri’s book launch in Mumbai. (ANI)
