“The Delhi Police must probe the matter properly. They should have given me a copy of the complaint. I don’t know whether that complaint has been converted to FIR and who filed it. The police asked me some questions, but those were not genuine queries. I told them that they don’t have complete set of papers.I have that,” Sharma told ANI.

“They have certain emails, which are irrational and illogical and some papers which can make them fall in trouble,” he added.

Sharma further stated that during questioning by the police, he asked them to check the emails of the government.

“I will come up with a second story, which includes Yoga recruitment fraud. RTI is a big tool through which facts get revealed. But at times, the facts do not get with the political suitability for the existing government,” he said.

Sharma whose report had claimed that the AYUSH Ministry was denying jobs to the Muslims based on a RTI query was earlier questioned by the Delhi Police.

The AYUSH Ministry had filed a formal complaint with the Delhi Police, asking them to probe the alleged fake RTI query.

Sharma’s story, published by The Milli Gazette and picked up by news outlets, said that as per the government policy, the AYUSH Ministry did not recruit any Muslim as yoga trainer.
