Run for Caste Free India, on April 14

In commemoration of the 125th Birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar,  the Dalith Indian Chamber of Commerce 7 industry, Shanti charka International, in collaboration with Sports Coaching Foundation, is organizing  5th “Run for Caste Free India’, at 6.30 am on April 14,  from Peoples Plaza Necklace Road to Dr BR Ambedkar Statue, Tank Bund here.


Announcing this in a press note here today, Ravi Kumar Narra, Founder, Shanti Chakra International, said that  69 years of independent India could counter the menace of small pox, polio, malaria, aids, cancer etc., but unfortunately ‘we have not taken any steps to eradicate  the caste system which is increasing day by day.  The caste system is creating barriers among the people.  The need of the hour is to break the barriers of caste system to establish egalitarian society based on liberty, equality and fraternity.  (NSS)       :
