Superstar Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan began shooting for their third collaboration, Tubelight, in Ladakh on Thursday.
The hit duo returns after the success of 2015 drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan. They first teamed up on YRF action-romance Ek Tha Tiger.
Kabir has been posting about Tubelight on Twitter.
Salman, 50, is rumoured to be playing a man-child in the movie, which the director has said, is a mix of emotion and humour with a little political backdrop. Deepika Padukone will reportedly be Salman’s leading lady in the film.
Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
