Salman Khan to return as host of ‘Bigg Boss 9’

Salman Khan is all set to return as the “Bigg Boss 9” host for the sixth time.

The 49-year-old “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” star, who had been hosting the show from past five seasons, quit after the last installment was extended into a limited series called “Bigg Boss Halla Bol”. Filmmaker Farah Khan filled in for the extended version.

But the actor is back for the new season that will once again revolve around a group of celebrities holed up in a house for three months with multiple cameras watching their every move.

“Colors welcomes #BhajrangiBhaijaan @BeingSalmanKhan to #biggboss9 Presented by @Snapdeal Powered by @Oppomobileindia This October @ColorsTV,” Raj Nayak, CEO Colors, posted on Twitter.

Over the years, Salman’s presence has been one of the major highlights of the controversial show.

Last year before the eighth season commenced, Salman had said he was reluctant to return on the show as he had an extremely “tiring and painful” experience hosting the show in 2013.
