Salman Khan talks about the demonetization of currency

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to demonetize Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes has divided the Bollywood with few supporting the move while others are against it.

After Bollywood actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Salman Khan has supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to demonetize Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes.

During the weekend episode of his reality show, Bigg Boss Season 10, Salman Khan conveyed his appreciation for the demonetization move. He said, “Iss hafte kaale dhan par dhanaadan vaar padi. It is a fantastic move. Hats off to Modi ji.”

He further added, “Mere khud ke 4 hazar ke note aur six, 500 k notes atak gaye hai kyunki main Hong Kong mein tha… par koi baat nahi.. main agle do-teen din mein bank jaake cash karwa loonga. (Though even I am facing issues as I have Four thousand notes and Six 500 notes are of no use now as I was in Hong Kong when the policy was announced, but it doesn’t matter. I will go to the bank in next 2/3 days and get it replaced)”.
