Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt is happy for his actor friend Salman Khan who got a clean chit in the chinkara killing case recently.
“Yes of course, I always call him. I always feel happy for him. I don’t want Salman or anybody to go through what I did. I always wish well for people. Justice prevails and I am happy it happened with him,” Dutt told reporters here when asked if he called Salman after the “Dabang” star was acquitted earlier this week in chinkara killing case.
On July 25, Salman was acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in two cases related to poaching of chinkaras in Jodhpur in 1998.
Dutt, who turned 57 today, was talking to the media at his residence in suburban Bandra.
Dutt was released from jail in February after serving the sentence in the Mumbai blasts case.
