Saudi prince arrested with 2 tons of drugs

BeirutSaudi Prince, Abdel Mohsen Bin Walid Bin Abdulaziz and four others were arrested by Beirut Airport Security while allegedly attempting to smuggle two tons of Captagon pills and cocaine.

Sources said that it is the largest drug bust in the history of the Beirut airport.

Captagon which is a banned drug is consumed in the Middle East and widely by fighters in Syria.

Security officials of Beirut revealed that the drugs was packed and were to be loaded onto a private plane which was scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, in April 2014, security forces foiled an attempt to smuggle 15 million capsules of Captagon.
