Saudi sponsor held four persons from Telangana ‘captive’

Hyderabad: In Saudi Arabia, four persons including three women from Telangana were allegedly trapped by a sponsor at his residence.

According to the news published in DC, a resident of Adilabad went to Saudi Arabia in 2014. Despite many requests, sponsor did not allow her to go back home. Another woman from Kalapatthar, Hyderabad and a person was also held captive.

Mr. Amjadullah Khan, MBT leader alleged that it is a racket in which sponsor’s wife was also involved. It is also alleged that sponsor’s wife runs a human trafficking racket. Victim complained that sponsor and his wife abused her physically.

According to the statement made by DCP, Mr. V. Satyanarayana, recruiting agents take advantage of the poor people and lure them. He further said that this racket is not confined only to Hyderabad but its roots are stretched from Delhi and Mumbai to Saudi Arabia.
