New Delhi:A day after heavy rains lashed the city creating waterlogging and traffic snarls in several areas, the national capital today received scant rainfall as high relative humidity troubled people.

According to an MeT official, 23.2 mm rainfall was recorded till 8.30 AM. “However, no rainfall was recorded thereafter though the sky remained partly cloudy,” the official said.

The MeT department recorded minimum temperature at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.

According to the official, relative humidity was recorded at 95 per cent at 8:30 AM.

Yesterday, the downpour had triggered traffic snarls at various intersections and busy roundabouts, including ITO and Dhaula Kuan.

The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were at 29.1 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
