Hyderabad: Schemes of Minority Welfare have been delayed owning to non-release budget. But the allied party of the government seems to be indifferent over the issue. We are in the 3rd quarterly of the financial year but the government has not issued even 50 pc of the Minority budget.
On one side the government has frozen Welfare scheme budget on the pretext of financial crisis, on the other side release of budget for Chief Minister’s favourite schemes and programmes is continued.
Government announced several schemes for minority welfare but all the schemes have become inactive due to lack of budget. The schemes affected include, scholarship, fee-reimbursement, bank-linked loan-cum-subsidy scheme, training and employment, Shaadi Mubarak and Overseas Scholarship Scheme.
This is a test for government’s allied parties that how they succeed in releasing the budget.
