Hyderabad: South Central Railway , General Manager Ravindra Gupta inaugurated ‘Patients’Attendants Dormitory at Central Hospital, Lallaguda today. This facility has been setup in the hospital premises for the convenience of Patients’ attendants coming from far off places on the Zone. This facility will come into use from tomorrow.
The patients’ attendants dormitory consists of 2 dormitory halls accommodating 11 beds in each hall. Separate six single bedded rooms were also constructed for the convenience of attendants. These provisions are given to attendants at a nominal price of Rs 25 per day for a dormitory and Rs 50 per day for a single bedded room.
A.K. Gupta, Addl. General Manager, Gajanan Mallya, SDGM, Aruna Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, Solan Gupta, Chief Electrical Engineer were present. M. Raghavaiah, General Secretary, National Federation of Indian Railways and Shri G. Shankar Rao, General Secretary, South Central Railway Mazdoor Union present on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Medical Department in coming up with this facility. (NSS)
