Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths here on Wednesday raided the house of Secunderabad division GHMC Circle Town Planning Officer Mahesh and found that the latter had amassed huge assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The ACB officials also conducted simultaneous raids on the residences of relatives of Mahesh. The sleuths found Rs 30 lakh worth assets in the name of Mahesh’s wife. They also identified ill-gotten assets in the name of Mahesh. Mahesh was facing allegations that he does not give permission for house building without extracting bribe from the applicants. (NSS)
