Hyderabad: Ms. G.D. Aruna, Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare consulted the officials of Hajj Committee. Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Hajj Committee apprised her of the arrangements of Hajj camp. He told that Hajj camp will start functioning with effect from 31st August. Such of the Hajj pilgrims who have to proceed to Saudi Arabia from Hajj on 2nd September will have to report at the Hajj camp on 31st August. On completion of necessary formalities, they will be shifted to Shamsabad International Airport by Special buses of RTC. Customs clearance, Immigration, Currency exchange and other matter would be completed in the Hajj House itself. Secretary of Minorities Dept. told that the arrangements of the Hajj camp should be completed within two days. She said that she would visit Hajj camp before its commencement. She instructed the officials to complete the works pertaining to white washing and repairs to Hajj House immediately. Conveyor belt has been put for the first time at the Hajj terminal of the Airport for shifting the luggage. Hajj terminal is being provided A/C facilities for the first time.
