Hiring for Senior Manager Information Technology
Position: Senior (IT) Technical Support Manager
Location: Mumbai
TinyOwl, created by IITB Alumni, is one application that defines speed and smartness. It is the newest phenomenon of restaurant industry and the app focuses on quick food ordering services. The end product is a result of extensive research, tons of experience and getting hands dirty in food ordering industry.
As a start-up always looks for key-people, we are searching for the smart ones, who are willing to contribute their efforts towards the growth of TinyOwl. You would be working with people who have dedicated their life and complete efforts to TinyOwl, in a chilled & creative work environment. We’re a small team and that means lots of opportunity to own things from start to finish that have tremendous impact on large number of people, across many different devices and platforms.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues;
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
Replacing parts as required;
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers;
Testing and evaluating new technology;
Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Team Management Should be able to handle a team of people and get the best out of them.
