Senior Pak police officer escapes unhurt in Peshwar blast

Islamabad [Pakistan]: A senior police officer has escaped unhurt after a roadside bomb exploded near the police van in which he was travelling on the Northern Bypass in Peshawar on Friday.

According to the Dawn, Deputy Superintendent of Police Abdul Salam was inside the vehicle when the remote-controlled bomb exploded.

The Police Control Peshawar said the vehicle suffered minor damage. (ANI)
