Separate Rayalaseema agitation likely to start

Hyderabad: After reviewing ground realities, Mysoora Reddy has decided to launch agitation for separate Rayalaseema. Till very recently, Mr. Mysoora Reddy was with the opposition, YSRCP. He kept himself away from the party affairs for a long time since he was not getting proper place in the party which he deserved. Vexed up with the humiliation, he decided to resign from the primary membership of the party. He wrote a very strong letter to party president to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sources indicated that YSRCP leaders made an attempt to make him quiet.

Mr. Mysoora Reddy told that now he is free to launch separate Rayalaseema agitation. He further told that a program of action for the protest has already been prepared. He has consulted many senior leaders of Rayalaseema. More than 20 leaders of Rayalaseema have assured him their cooperation. In the 9-point agitation program the districts of Prakasham and Nellore will also be included which are now part of Coastal Andhra. Rayalaseema consists of four district, namely, Anantapur, Chittor, Kurnool and Kadapa. The leaders of Prakasham and Nellore would also prefer to join this agitation. Senior leaders like Sri Kant Reddy, Shailajanath, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and others have extended their support for this movement. Some of the senior leaders of TDP are also interested to protect the rights of Rayalaseema Region. They are also in contact with Mysoora Reddy. NRIs, IT professionals, Entrepreneurs and youth organization would also join the protest. The increasing disappointment in Rayalaseema region may generate enthusiasm for this movement. It is likely that a very active and serious agitation will emerge in Rayalaseema Region soon.
