Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana made all arrangements to file an affidavit in High Court in which it will make its stand clear as per the Wakf Act, it is not possible to constitute separate Wakf Board for Shias. After the scrutiny of wakf properties, Wakf Board has arrived at a conclusion that there are only 167 Shia Wakf properties including 114 in Hyderabad. As per the Wakf Act, at least 15% wakf properties of Shias are required for the formation of separate Wakf Board. Law Dept. of Govt. of Telangana has also cleared the file.
