Job Description

Providing 1st Line Technical Support for below services as Service Desk Engineer

Troubleshooting the Connectivity issues relating to DSLAM, MAN, Ethernet First Mile and ADSL services for our UK customer base
Would be required to work on Cisco Switches 3500 & 3800, Cisco routers 700 & 800 series
Also core devices including LNSs and Provider Edge routers(PE)
Would be required to coordinate with the Service Delivery, Account Management, Provisioning team on day to day basis for customer issues

Required Skills

Network Engineer with certification in Network – CCNA / CCNP
Knowledge of supporting ISP issues for corporate customers dealing with the Cisco 700, 800, 1841, 2900 series of routers and Switches 3500 and 3800 series.
Working experience on LNS and PE routers would be added advantage.
Knowledge of MPLS, VLAN, HSRP, STP, VTP, SPAN, RSPAN
Troubleshooting RIP, RIP-V2, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP issues
Excellent oral and written communication skills
