jalaluddin akber1

Hafez Peer Shabbir Ahmed former MLC and President Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, Andhra Pradesh reacted strongly on the transfer of Jalaluddin Akber from the post of Director Minority Welfare and said that the government under political pressure has transferred an officer who has played important role in effective implementation of Minority Welfare schemes.

He maintained that on one hand Chief Minister announces various schemes for the welfare of minorities and on the other hand he transfers officers implementing those schemes thus he has proved that government is not sincere in implementing government schemes.

Hafez Peer Shabbir Ahmed pointed out that Minority Welfare Department is already facing staff crunch, in this situation wherefrom government will bring Muslim officer for the post, he wanted to know. He demanded that the government revise the decision saying that the allegations made on Jalaluddin Akber are ridiculous. Government should have enquired the facts before acting upon a letter sent by a political party, he said.
