Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir has paid rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and other martyrs of Karbala.
`Shabbir Ali on Wednesday visited the dais of Congress leader Anjaiah at Mir Alam Mandi and offered Dhatti to the historic Bibi-Ka-Alam during the grand procession. Speaking to media persons later, Shabbir Ali said that the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions will be always remembered for the supreme sacrifices that they made while fighting against injustice and to uphold the honour and dignity of Islam.
Congress senior leaders, including former MP M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, TPCC General Secretary Sk. Afzaluddin, ex-Dy Mayor Rajjkumar, Youth Congress president Anil Kumar Yadav, ex-Corporator Wajid Hussain, TPCC Secretary Mohammed Jaweed, Dilawar were among those present. (NSS)
