Hyderabad: The plan to shift the present Secretariat to Erragadda Hospital Premises has been abandon by the CM of Telangana State, Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao. It may be noted that Mr. KCR had announced in December 2014 to shift the present Secretariat to Erragadda and the construction work would be started from 1st January 2016. He had also released necessary funds for this.
KCR laid the foundation of Dr. Ambedkar’s Statue at Hill Rock at NTR Garden. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr. KCR told that Hill Rock is in the center of the city and it is in between Buddha Statue and Secretariat. Both these statues could be seen from Secretariat. Due to this Govt. decided to select Hill Rock for the installation of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue.
