Shocking video: Delhi police brutally thrashing students outside RSS office

New Delhi: An inexcusable video of Delhi police brutally thrashing students (including several female students) protesting outside RSS office on January 30 has become public.

Students from All India Students’ Association (AISA), a Left-wing student organization gathered outside the RSS office to protest the death of Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula.

A video released by one of the protesters on social media has gone viral showed the Delhi cops seen in plain clothes ‘lathicharge’ to disperse the students.

The students alleged that those in plain clothes were RSS supporters destroyed camera of a photojournalist present at the spot.

The video clip shows the cops not just lathi-charging students, but pulled down female protesters by their hair.

“No protesters were detained and no force had to be used at all,” DCP (Central) Parmaditya told PTI.
