A Sub-Inspector of Police, working at the Yalal Police Station in adjoining Ranga Reddy district, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree at Pedamul mandal last night.
Ramesh, a 2012 batch SI, is a native of Nalgonda and was married a year ago. He was posted at the Yalal police station three months ago. Last evening, Ramesh reportedly sent two text messages to his wife, a message read ‘Kudannpally village – chinta chettu’ while another message stated ‘forgive’.
Sensing something fishy, the woman alerted her relatives, who along with Pedamul police rushed to the Kudannpally village in Pedamul and found him hanging to a tree. The police shifted the body to Government Hospital at Tandur for post mortem examination and began investigation. (INN)
